Mechanical Robot Made Out Of Paper

While giant mech robots have been pretty significant recently in Japan, it's great to see projects such as this walking papercraft robot.

Looking slightly like an origami version of the ED-209 from Robocop, artist Kikousya has created this walking biped out of paper, rubber bands and a set of wooden shafts for rigidity.  I have to admit, this is certainly one of the coolest things I've seen in a while.  It's like the robo-apocalypse, only they can now give you papercuts. Don't underestimate that power!

The construction shows exhaustive attention to detail and strength-of-construction, and as the gattling gun attachments show, they are easily modifiable from the charming walking robot, to a box-toppling machine of death.
