Oculus Rift Comes To Minecraft

Though very much unofficially, the VR wonder Oculus Rift has made it's way to Minecraft. Named Minecrift, this mod adapts the games visual output for the VR headset, putting you right at the heart of the map you've just built.

After seeing this creation by StellaArtois, a MTBS3D forum user, Mojang themselves are said to have been looking at the device for much the same prospect; but we shouldn't expect to see it pushed out in an update anytime soon.

"So the Rift is cool. Would take a lot of work to get it working for Minecraft, but not impossible - especially with the new launcher. Hmm." Nathan Adams (@Dinnerbone)
