It's now official.  Resident Evil 6 has just been announced via the viral blog NoHopeLeft.com.

The trailer shows the return of Leon and Chris Redfield, in some pretty amazing, high-speed action sequences.  Gameplay seems to have sped up also, adopting the same over-the-shoulder view, watching the protagonist slide along the ground to cover, and what seems to be a return of 'actual' zombies.  Flashbacks of the president talking about the Bio-organic weapon incident at Racoon city, and how it's spread to Tall Oaks.  The scale gets larger as war commences, showing possible multiplayer gameplay with a team of soldiers.

Get pumped, it's set for release on November 20th.  We can't be more excited.
