Windows Phone 7 review

Microsoft mobile’s last stand, minimalism is the dish of the day in this: the convoluted middle ground between ease-of-use and too simplistic to be advantageous for the user. Touch responsiveness is absolute, speed rivals iOS and in sheer design ethic, WP7 carries itself with a much more aesthetically pleasing interface. Style over substance in many situations: basic features are hidden with the tenuous press-and-hold, universal search is non-existent, incapability to multitask; even phone signal is concealed until dragged down. A socially adaptive phone OS; superlative aspects and stylistic captivation, with fundamental form and function omitted. An alternate direction, new beginnings. 7
