Tuesday Trends 7th September

That's right, it's Wednesday, but it's still time for Tuesday Trends! 

Let's take a look at what trended on Tuesday night. #mercuryprize was riding high in the UK, as music nerds speculated about who would win the coveted prize. In the end it was PJ Harvey, who also trended. The reaction was somewhere between "She doesn't need the £20,000" to "Why weren't Wild Beasts nominated again?

Also yesterday #england and #wales trended as the two country faced off in a game of kick the ball in the net. From what I can tell the consensus was, Wales played surprisingly well, and England didn't, but England still won.
