'Mycestro.' Wearable 3D Ring Computer Mouse Launched On Kickstarter

Nick Mastandrea, founder of Innovative developments, is seeking funds from Kickstarter for ‘Mycestro:' a new kind of mouse that attaches to your index finger and provides full 3D movement. Think 'Minority Report,' just with one finger instead.

The premise is simple. It's a wearable ring device with 3D movement to move the mouse on the screen, buttons on the side for left, center and right click. Seeing it in action makes the process of using a computer look effortless and almost musical. There is a downside, however, i
t only operates over bluetooth to connect wirelessly to your computer or mobile device, meaning that for your average PC it’s not a readily available option.

So far they have created a prototype of the device and have gathered the professional team capable to get the device into consumer hands, but they need that bit of a finiacial push in order to make it a reality in the near future.

Mycestro is currently wideley compatiable with the Apple range and will work with any PC that has addded bluetooth functionality. For Android it's a work in progress but part of the project is to enable them to rectify the issue. If all goes to plan they'll be available to use later towards the end of the year.

As of writing the project has raised over $12,000 of $100,000.
