Mortal Kombat Legacy

A true "making a name for yourself" story hangs behind this elegantly made homage.  One avid fan's (Kevin Tancharden) piece of live action going viral (link), only to be scouted by Warner.  Not only does it feel right to watch it for this reason, it becomes oh so apparent that this is the video game adaptation MK deserved.  Not much has been revealed within the first youtube episode; but with a much more realistic tone, a welcomed lack of cheese and talented actors, you can't help but feel optimism.  Both tension and a sense of calm allude you through the high production values and Tancharden's faithful rendition of MK, whilst maintaining the credibility of the original IP. 8
