Rupert Murdoch joins Twitter

So the owner of a media empire who everyone either loves to hate or hates to love (and who we love for the copious amounts of Simpsons on Sky One) has joined the microblogging universe that is Twitter.  

Not only does he have the pretty cool Twitter picture; but he's rather active on the service too:

"Happy 2012. May itbe better than all experts predict. Has to be! Must change everything to create jobs for all, especiallyyoung"

"Good to see santorum surging in Iowa. Regardless of policies, all debates showed principles, consistency and humility like no other."

He's even declared himself to resume his working efforts: "Back to work tomorrow. Enough idling!"  Which did gain a rather humourous response from @RabbleRealist: "@rupertmurdoch back to work shoveling bullshit propaganda to the masses!!! How does it feel to be the cause of such mass stupidity?"

So it's been fair to say he's faced a somewhat lukewarm reception, we look forward to reading what more he has to say.
