Condom ad disguised as Facebook friend request from your future child

So one random friend request later, I can warn you about an Olla Condom promo campaign that sends users friend requests from their yet-to-be-born sons.  Not only is it just downright creepy; but it's also a violation of Facebook policy.

Take a look at the promo video below, which does a much better job explaining the "Unexpected Babies" campaign launched by Brazillian Agency Age Isobar.  The concept requires a fair amount of user interaction to get going: take a male user's name, create a new Facebook profile with that male's name along with the suffix "Jr.," and send a friend request to the user.  When he clicks through to see the profile, he'll see an Olla condom advertisement

Don't expect it to last long, as Facebook's terms forbid any kind of fake profiles, and the campaign violates plenty of other policies under "Registration and Account Security."  But that doesn't take away from the fact that it's definitely gotten the brand viral attention, although maybe for the wrong reasons... Who would be so bitter in your group of friends as to do that?

It's not advertising, it's spam.
