Google Nexus 10 Confirmed By Leaked Manual

The Google Nexus 10 is coming; this much we can pretty much guarantee, with as many leaks coming from Google HQ and beyond as is becoming annoyingly customary with a modern-day product launch. Going under the name ‘Codename Manta’, we already understand the successor to the immensely-popular Nexus 7 (the best-selling Android tablet) will likely be running Android 4.2 Jellybean and will purportedly boast a truly staggering, Retina-smashing resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels (16:10), but now we might just have the first clues of what it will look like.

And that’s thanks to a pair of images showing up on Korean forum 'Seeko' of what it claims to be an authentic user manual for the Nexus 10. What does it tell us? Unsurprisingly, not a lot in truth, with the photographer choosing to ignore the majority of the manual itself (maybe he’s a fan of mystery, who knows!?) and only offering us a photo of the front cover and a sketch of the tablet, which shows many of the hardware traits you’d expect from a 10-inch tablet.

Much more intriguing is how the Nexus 10 looks when compared to the design of the Nexus 7. With a much bigger frame, the sides of the tablet are notably more curved than the relatively straight-edged 7, while a rounded rectangular shape on the back is another noticeable change to the fantastic smooth, textured rubber backing of its predecessor. If the manual is truly authentic – and you have every right to question it - the design of the Nexus 10, at this point, leaves a little to be desired. Still, the proof is in the pudding when we see the iPad-rivalling tablet in the flesh, and quite frankly we can’t wait to see what Google has in store for us come October 29th.
