Fans Working On Super Mario 64 HD Remake

When it comes to platforming games, many people look to Super Mario 64 as one of the best. Get excited, as a group of fans are giving the classic Nintendo 64 game a HD makeover, and it looks bloody gorgeous!

Work started over a year ago by Aryoksini, who started by recreating the Mario character. Shortly following this, the team expanded to cover environments, textures, soundtrack and digital art. So far, so good; they've even made a developer commentary to keep you posted on their progress. They're also posting pretty regularly on their Facebook page too, including Twitch streams.

One last thing is their casting of Mario. Candidate Keysha got the job, and we have to say he sounds pretty faithful to the original!
