This transparent display concept is the next step towards holographs

Florida based tech company 'Number one' is working on a display concept, which aims to be the last step before we turn to Minority Report-style holographic displays. Long time followers of New Rising Media will know we've seen our fair share of holography, but this seems to be the most logical next step towards that.

This 27" widescreen display with a resolution of 1920x1080 has the LED-projector integrated into the stand, which is them beamed onto the foil-coated screen. When turned off, the screen is completely transparent, and makes an impressive feat of design. The base has 2.1 audio as well, and is compatible with both PC & Mac.

Put simply, it looks pretty awesome.
