9 Big Predictions For E3 2019
E3 2019 is just around the corner - here are my big predictions for the show.
US Navy SEALs Punished Over Involvement With Medal Of Honor
In an attempt to make its latest Medal of Honor unrivalled in realism in the first-person shooter stakes, EA Games has purportedly landed seven US Navy SEALs who consulted on the game in hot water. The U.S. Navy’s principal spec-ops forces, the SEALs have most recently been famed for the finding and killing of Osama Bin Laden.
Battlefield 4 Is Coming, Will Likely Be Next-Gen
Don't act too surprised, but a follow-up to the immensely popular shooter Battlefield 3 from EA DICE has now been confirmed by its publisher, and those who pre-order Medal of Honor: Warfighter will have early access to the beta.

GAME Will Not Be Stocking Mass Effect 3 On Release, Pre-Orders Cancelled
Game Group’s future as a major high-street videogame retailer is looking ever more worrying as reports have emerged today that the retailer will not be stocking any of EA Games’ March releases immediately following the European release of SSX this Friday. Crucially – and perhaps foretelling of what is to come for the company – that will mean no store shelving will be reserved for EA and Bioware’s trilogy-closer Mass Effect 3, the biggest and most noteworthy game of the year so far.
Early Copies Of Mass Effect 3 To Be Launched Into Space
As anticipation for EA and Bioware’s epic conclusion to the Mass Effect saga balloons to atmospheric-breaking levels, EA is giving the chance to fans of the franchise to play the game more than a week early – but not in the way you’d have imagined.
Is This The Beginning Of The End For Videogames’ High Street Presence?
Questions are being raised this week about the future of GAME after a number of reports have arisen that indicates the specialist videogame high-street retailer is struggling to stock newer games following a number of its credit agencies withdrawing credit insurance on behalf of the chain. GAME is now having to pay for new stock of games up front if it chooses to sell them, something it has now had to rely on until now. There were serious concerns earlier this week that GAME would fail to have Friday’s triple-A releases (Final Fantasy XIII-2, Soul Calibur V, Metal Gear Solid HD Collection) on store shelves as a result, while concerns over the company’s long-term future meant Sony’s long-awaited portable successor to the PSP, the PlayStation Vita, was also rumoured to be following suit.
Crysis 2 Ends 2011 As Most Pirated Game
For game developers and publishers alike, earning recognition for their game through topping an end of year category (whether Game of the Year, Best FPS or Best RPG) is a prize that money can't buy. And then there are those that no company wants to win – namely 'The Most Pirated Game Of 2011'.
According to TorrentFreak, this year's crown went to the PC version of EA and Crytek's behemoth Crysis 2 which was downloaded approximately 3,920,000 times between its release in March 2011 and the end of the year.
Most 'Star Wars: The Old Republic' users choose to be a Sith over Jedi
The recently released 'Star Wars: The Old Republic' has become "fastest-growing subscription MMO in history," gathering over one million users to date, including those who were granted early access a week ahead of time.
EA and Bioware released a press release detailing particular in-game statistics.
