AntiSec Publishes One Million Apple Device IDs Following FBI Breach
AntiSec hackers have posted 1,000,001 iPhone and iPad identification numbers onto Pastebin, with the claim this data was stolen from a laptop belonging to an FBI agent.
The aim of this exercise has been to publicise the somewhat sketchy intelligence gathering that the Bureau have been partaking in. Beyond the unique devide identifiers (UDIDs) posted, the hackers claim that what has been posted is simply a sample. The full file they possess contains 12 million records, including full personal data surrounding each identifier (full name, phone number, address).

The file was taken from a Dell Vostro laptop owned by Supervisory Special Agent Christoper K. Stangl, using a Java vulnerability to hack into the machine and steal the file titled "NCFTA_iOS_devices_intel.csv." The initial letters indicate the acronym for National Cyber-Forensics & Training Alliance: an organisation which shares intelligence to combat cybercrime.
