Superman And Batman Will Face Off In New Movie Coming 2015

Superman and Batman will come together in a follow-up to this year's Man of Steel.  Set for a 2015 release, Warner Bros. made the announcement at Comic-Con 2013 to huge applause.

Henry Cavill will return as Superman; but the role of Batman remains a mystery, as Christian Bale has made it clear his days as Bruce Wayne are gone.

"I'm so excited to begin working again with Henry Cavill in the world we created, and I can't wait to expand the DC Universe in this next chapter," Snyder said in a statement. "Let's face it, it's beyond mythological to have Superman and our new Batman facing off, since they are the greatest Super Heroes in the world."
