'A Hat In Time.' Indie Adventure Awaits Your Greenlight Approval

Developed by Danish dev Jonas Kærlev, also known as Mecha the Slag, A Hat In Time is a Banjo-Kazooie style 3D platformer with simple, crisp cel-shaded graphics and a focus on 'Collecting Lots Of Stuff.'  A game of solving various puzzles; presumably related to time-travel given the motif, the title currently resides on Steam's Greenlight service, awaiting crowd approval.

You Can Now Apply To Be Part Of A Mars Colony For Reality TV

Netherlands based organisation Mars One has begun accepting applications for "Mars colony pioneers:" a one-way ticket to a human settlement on the red planet, which they intend to finish construction of in 2023.  Those who are chosen will be put into a selection process, in which both Mars One and viewers of a “global, televised program” will choose the first humans to colonise the planet.

Pokémon X And Y Announced For Nintendo 3DS

Nintendo have announced Pokémon X and Y, the next instalments of the massively popular series, coming to 3DS worldwide in October. These are the first entries to be fully 3D, a dream amongst many-a-trainer.

A 90-second trailer has been released in which our beloved friend Pikachu, standing on top of what looks like the Eiffel tower, seemingly electrocutes the entire planet, presumably to zap some teaser game footage into our heads.
