This Doctor Recorded A Surgery Using Snapchat’s Spectacles
In one of the more graphic uses of Snapchat Spectacles, a British surgeon has captured an entire surgery using the camera-equipped sunglasses.
At the London Independent Hospital, on December 9th, Dr. Shafi Ahmed performed an abdomen procedure on a patient - sharing key points in 10-second Snapchat clips as a tutorial for his medical students.
Over the course of the hour, Ahmed shared this unique point of view to teach students in a far more effective way that communicates on the channels they use.
But not only is it an educational piece, it’s also amazingly fascinating to just sit back and watch (albeit a little bloody). Check it out below.
